Setting Canon Printer IP1980 in Ubuntu 10.04

I just bought new HP laptop (HP pavilion-dv2 Entertaiment PC with AMD processor) and I installed Ubuntu 10.04 on it. For connection to my printer Canon IP 1980 I need extra effort to make this working. So I describe step here:
1. Download http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/universe/c/cups/libcupsys2_1.3.9-17ubuntu3.9_all.deb

installed

2. Download

iP1900_debian_printer.tar

from http://software.canon-europe.com/software

If this file extracted will get 3 files but I just need to files :a. cnijfilter-common_3.00-1_i386.deb
b. cnijfilter-ip1900series_3.00-1_i386.deb

please and installed both file with sequence, because the last one have dependency with another.

Set printer from

System > Administration > Printer
